The Government Land Office (GLO) shows a land grant was made in 1859 to Jacob Hooper in Clinton County, MO. Platte County, marriage records show Jacob Hooper married Nancy St.John on 15 Oct 1854. Jacob Hooper served in the Clinton County, MO Home Guard. Application #489,434. Certificate #666,312; applied July 1, 1883 from MO.
