of George Hooper,

Cumberland County, North Carolina

In the name of God Amen

I George Hooper of Wilmington in the State of North Carolina, being of sound mind, do make & ordain this to be my Last Will & Testament

Imprimis, I leave to my beloved Niece Mrs. Elizabeth Watters of Hillsborough as a small token of my sincere affection & of my gratefull sense of the many obligations I owe [word omitted, torn paper] her choice of as many of the printed Books I may die possessed of as she may think proper to select.

[Tear in middle here] .................................................town ... Fayetteville I leave my walking
S[tick] ........................... many years ago by our mutual friend .......................... and hope he will accept it on that account.

I hereby constitute & appoint my Son Archibald M. Hooper & [long blank space] Executors, and my daughter Mary Fleming Executrix, of this my last Will & Testament written & signed with my own hand this eighth day of April 1820
