Bond upon the Admion of the Goods etc of Walter Hooper deced granted to Ann
Hooper the Widow and Relict of the said deced
The Admix was sworn before Edmund Gilbert, Clerk. Master of Arts Official
or Principal Surrogate etc.
No Inventory Stamp £5.10
Know all Men by thefe Prefents that We Ann Hooper of the Parish of Saint
Enoder in the County of Cornwall, Widow, Andrew Hooper of the same Parish
Yeoman and John Coppin of the Borough of Bodmin in the said County, Yeoman
are held and firmly bound unto the Worshipful George Moore, Clerk,
Archdeacon of Cornwall in the Sum of Twelve hundred Pounds of good and
lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid unto the said George Moore or to
his certain Attorney his Executors Adminifstators or Afsigns To which
payment well and truly to be made We oblige ourfelves and each of us by her
felf and himself for the whole our and each and every of our heirs Executors
and Adminiftrators firmly by thefe prefents Sealed with our Seals Dated the
twenty seventh Day of January in the thirty seventh Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France
and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and soforth And in the Year of Our
Lord One Thoufand Seven hundred and ninety seven.
The Condition of this Obligation is such That if the above bounden Ann
Hooper being as the Widow admitted Administratrix of all and singular the
Goods Chattles and credits of Walter Hooper late of the said Parish of Saint
Enoder deceafed do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of
all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the said Deceafed which
have or shall come to the hands Pofsefsion or Knowledge of her the said Ann Hooper
or into the Hands and Pofsefsion of any Perfon or Perfons for her and the
same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Regiftry of the
Archdeaconry Court of Cornwall at or before the last Day of April next
enfuing and the same Goods Chattles and Credits and all other the Goods Chat
tles and Credits of the said Deceafed at the time of his Death which at any
time after shall come to the Hands or Pofsefsion of the said Ann Hooper or
into the hands and pofsefsion of any other perfon or perfons for her do well
and truly adminifter according to Law And further do make or cause to be
made a true and juft Attempt of her said Adminiftration at or Befor the last
Day of January 1798 and all the Reft and Refidue of the said Goods Chattles
and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the said Administratrixs
Attempt the same being first examined and allowed of by the Judge or Judges
for the time being of the said Court shall ..... and pay unto such Perfon or
Perfons refpectively as the said Judge or Judges by his or their Decree or
Sentence purfuant to the true Intent and Meaning of a late Act of Parliament
made in the two and twentieth and three and twentieth Years of the Reign of
our late Sovereign Lord King Charles the Second intituled an Act for the
Better settling of Inteftates Estates shall limit and appoint And if it
shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Teftatment was made by the
said Deceafed and the Executor or
Executors therein named do exhibit the same into the said Court making
Requeft to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the said Ann hooper
above bounden being thereunto required do render and deliver the said
Letters of Adminiftration (Approbation of such Teftament being first had and
made in the said Court then this Obligation to be Void, or else to remain in
full Force and Virtue
